Project focus: Blackwells workshop renovation 2016
Before & after.
Transformed from an old glass factory floor, to the modern Blackwell Motors vehicle service workshop in Christchurch. Regis Coatings team carried out the floor grinding, concrete repairs and applied 3 coats of Epotread 1000. Firstly the whole concrete floor surface was diamond ground to reveal any cracks and craters, these were then repaired with Cretex TR epoxy mortar and Cretex SL epoxy resin. Any areas of slumped or eroded concrete were built up with Epotread SL250 epoxy screed, then a final diamond grind of the floor surface and 3 heavy coats of Epotread 1000 applied by roller.
Project focus: New Rocket Lab factory, Auckland
Rocket Lab specify the Epotread 1000 epoxy coating for their new 5000sqm factory floor in Auckland. The Regis Coatings team diamond grind the surface and apply 3 coats of EPOTREAD 1000 GREY, followed by 2 coats of Red Epotread specially tinted to match Rocket Lab's corporate colour scheme.
Project focus: Foot Science factory floor refurbishment
Epotread 1000 in the colour 'VP Blue' is applied in 3 heavy coats at the Foot Science factory. The existing floor surface was prepared by diamond grinding, all floor joints and cracks were chased out and filled with the Cretex compounds from Regis Coatings, then 3 coats of Epotread 1000 applied by roller. As the Epotread 1000 is solvent-free and has very little smell, there was virtually no chemical odour disruption to the staff working in the factory throughout the process. The bright VP Blue colour has attracted numerous positive comments from visitors to their premises.

Diamond grinding

Shot blasting
Badly eroded concrete floors can typically be prepared by captive shot blasting, followed by a screed of Epotread SL250 epoxy. Then once the Epotread SL250 has cured (about 3-5 days) diamond grind the complete surface and apply 3 coats of Epotread 1000. Call us for further advice.
In situations where a Rapid-Cure epoxy is required, we recommend using the Cretex SL epoxy resin, instead of Epotread SL250.
